In addition to the physical storage of goods, our warehousing processes also focus on their management. We make sure to communicate information effectively, as detailed knowledge of what is stored, where and in what quantity often determines the reliability of the process. A few words about warehousing
Warehousing is the entire process of handling a company’s warehouse management, from the analysis of material needs (production plans, promotional campaigns, distribution and logistics strategy), the orders created on the basis of this, through receipt, storage in conditions guaranteeing full value in use, preparation for dispatching and release of goods.
As part of the warehousing process, we provide both safe storage conditions and product-specific conditions. The way distribution and the supply chain operate has changed in recent years. As a result, the requirements that the modern economy places on warehouse logistics and the warehousing process itself have changed. The turnaround time of individual operations and the cost of storing a single load unit are crucial. Optimising these two factors are key issues for us.

The 4 main phases of the warehousing process are divided into: receipt of goods, storage, picking and release. We list them in non-accidental order, as they follow one after the other – from the entry of materials into the warehouse, to the exit. Let’s take a closer look at them:
- Receipt of goods – the phase that starts the warehousing process. Receipt – internal or external – should be evidenced by a receipt document. Operations carried out at this stage include unloading, inspection of the goods and transport to the storage area.
- Storage – structured – depending on the technical equipment available – location of materials in the warehouse space. We offer rack and block storage. Examples of operations include loading and unloading racks, or storing in appropriate conditions. Goods are assigned to individual warehouse zones. For this purpose, their dimensions, size, weight and frequency of rotation are analysed. The goods are then placed in dedicated areas and stored in appropriate conditions.
- Picking – can be carried out either in the storage area or in a
dedicated operational area – the picking area. It can follow the
goods-to-person or person-to-goods method. The key operations carried
out in this phase of warehousing are quantity and quality control and
labelling. - Release – internal or external – the phase in which goods physically leave the warehouse. The operations carried out are, for example, release control and loading.
In order to improve the efficiency of storage, we carry out analyses in all 4 phases, as each is important and together they form the whole process.
